Accommodation Policy and Terms of Use
Welcome to our hostel! To ensure the best experience for all guests, we have established some rules and guidelines. By making a reservation and staying with us, you agree to the following terms:
1. Reservations
1.1 An advance payment of 50% of the accommodation fee is required to confirm the reservation.
1.2 The total amount must be paid before check-in.
2. Accommodation
2.1 Check-in: From 2:00 PM. Early check-in exceeding 5 hours will incur a half-day charge.
2.2 Check-out: Until 11:00 AM. Late check-out until 5:00 PM will be charged 50% of the daily rate. After 5:00 PM, a full additional daily rate will be charged.
2.3 Bed linen change: Every 3 days upon request. Additional changes will be charged.
2.4 Lost key/card: A R$ 50.00 fee per lost item will be applied.
2.5 Damage to the room or facilities: Guests will be charged the market price for item replacement.
2.6 Minors’ accommodation: Guests under 18 years old are not allowed in shared rooms. In suites, accommodation is allowed for children aged 10 and over, provided they are accompanied by their parents and present identification.
2.7 Pets: Not allowed.
3. Cancellation and Changes
3.1 Reservations may be canceled or modified with a refund if requested at least 72 hours in advance of check-in, via email at [email protected].
4. No-Show (Failure to Cancel)
4.1 Failure to appear without prior notice will be considered a no-show.
4.2 The reservation will be held for 24 hours after the scheduled arrival time. After this period, it will be canceled with no refund.
5. Early Departure
5.1 In case of an early departure after check-in, no refund will be issued.
Code of Conduct and General Rules
1. Respect
1.1 Treat staff and fellow guests with respect and courtesy.
1.2 Observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
1.3 Avoid speaking loudly or turning on lights at night to respect other guests.
1.4 Prohibited:
- Changing beds without reception authorization (subject to a fine).
- Smoking inside the hostel.
- Hanging clothes or towels from windows.
- Walking around common areas in inappropriate attire (only wearing a towel, underwear, or swimwear).
- Engaging in sexual activities in rooms.
- More than one person using the same mattress at the same time.
- Excessive alcohol consumption or staying intoxicated in shared spaces.
- Possessing or using any illegal substances or weapons.
2. Organization
2.1 Each bed has an individual locker with a lock and key. The hostel is not responsible for lost or forgotten items.
2.2 Guests will receive one sheet, one pillow, and one pillowcase.
2.3 Extra blankets are available upon request at the reception.
2.4 Keep personal belongings organized and do not leave items scattered around the room or on other beds.
2.5 The air conditioning is turned on from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM at a fixed temperature of 23°C.
3. Hygiene
3.1 Eating in the rooms is not allowed. Please use the dining area on the ground floor.
3.2 Do not hang towels on beds; use the available hooks.
3.3 To avoid odors, store your shoes in the plastic bag provided at check-in.
Shared Spaces Rules
1. Hostel Principle
Your freedom extends as far as the freedom of others. Respect the collective well-being.
2. Coexistence
2.1 Treat staff and guests with courtesy and respect.
2.2 Observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
2.3 Visitors are not allowed inside the hostel.
2.4 Prohibited:
- Smoking inside (except in the designated outdoor area).
- Hanging clothes or towels from windows.
- Walking around common areas in inappropriate attire.
- Excessive alcohol consumption or staying intoxicated in shared spaces.
- Possessing or using illegal substances or weapons.
3. Kitchen
3.1 The kitchen is available for guests, allowing use of the refrigerator, microwave, and hot water.
3.2 Cooking is not allowed.
3.3 All used items must be washed after use.
3.4 Kitchen utensils and drinks may not be taken to the rooms.
4. Luggage and Check-out
4.1 The hostel provides a free storage space for luggage before check-in or after check-out.
4.2 After check-out, guests are not allowed to access the dormitory floors. If a shower is needed after check-out, a R$ 35.00 fee will be charged for facility use and towel rental.
5. Penalties
Failure to comply with the rules may result in:
- Fines for damage or disturbances.
- Expulsion without refund in cases of serious misconduct.
